Life is...RUFF!

Hello Bloggers!

I started this blog to write about my two dogs, Peaches and Taruh. My BF left for work in Alaska, and therefore, I am left with the two greatest, yet craziest dogs on Earth. I thought it'd make good blogging, don't you?

Peaches (yes, like the fruit in plural form.)
Age: 1 yr & 7 months old
Breed: Female German Shepherd
Likes: Playing with her squeaky stuffed squirrels, over-sized tennis balls and guarding the house.
Dislikes: The boxers who live behind us, people doing yard work and Taruh stealing all of my toys.

Taruh (pronounced TEAR-rah)
Age: 1 yr & 1 month old
Breed: Female (mostly) Border Collie with a pinch of GSD.
Likes: Plastic squeaky toys, sleeping and digging holes.
Dislikes: The vacuum, hair dryer and baths.

I'm so thankful my dogs are a little bit older and smarter, otherwise it would've been hell taking care of the two. Before Taruh came along, and when my BF would be visiting his family in Washington, Peaches and I would have issues. She'd try to kick me off the bed, I'd barely get any sleep and we'd go through the same routine over and over. But now, things are different. She's older, and she knows who's in charge.

So, today it rained and I had to run a couple of errands. I put the dogs in the backyard, even though I knew the consequences of doing so. After I got back, I almost fainted from the sight of PeachyBear (one of the many nicknames.) She was literally muddy from head to toe. It's usually the BF's responsibility to get her cleaned up, and it was my responsibility to get Taruh cleaned up. But, since he's gone, I had the honor to clean up Miss Peach. I grabbed the bucket, and endless amounts of towels. UGH. It was such a pain to get that dog at least half way decent. And did I mention I saw her laying down in the mud? Crazy dog. Taruh was much easier, but brushing her is a another story.

Once they got inside, Peaches started to watch and guard through the windows. It made me feel a bit safer, and Taruh? Well, she just slept-as usual.

Alright, gotta go folks...the dogs are outside once again, this time for a potty break!
